Identify Information Sources
Identification of information sources and custodians is imperative in collecting the correct responsive information for production to opposing counsel. IE Discovery employs a uniform, fully documented interview process of potential custodians of relevant hard-copy and electronic information, to develop a comprehensive list of all potential information sources uncovered. This process includes exploration and identification of potentially relevant files on certain directories (file shares, mail systems, etc.), document and data triage, and immediate on-site collection, when necessary. We can also act as liaison between counsel and your organization's IT department, to assist both groups in collection of responsive information in an expedient manner.
Chain of Custody Preservation
Spoliation claims can occur when your organization cannot demonstrate due diligence in handling documents and data to minimize the potential for tampering.
